Our name begins where our story does — with the land.
“Sri ” is a word of reverence in Sinhala. It carries weight without noise: a way to name beauty, richness, and dignity — especially in relation to nature. “Vana ” echoes the Sanskrit vā — breath, life force, the movement of what grows.
“Heights ” is more than topography. It reflects the real altitudes from which our ingredients come — from cinnamon at 616 ft to white tea at 7125 ft. But it also gestures upward: toward clarity, simplicity, and care that’s aware of its impact.
We don’t use “ethics” as a label. We treat it as practice. Every ingredient we grow, buy, or extract is traceable — to a field, a name, a season.
We work directly with communities in Sri Lanka under fair trade conditions, and we keep our supply chain close, so respect doesn’t get lost along the way.
